If you are like me then you probably have dozens of blank journals laying around. Again if your like me then you probably bought them because they were pretty and not because you had a purpose in mind for them. I have a few blank journals and the options on ways to fill them are endless. It is however sometimes hard to figure out what to use them for. I have to go to YouTube and Pinterest to get ideas on how to fill my journals. So I thought I would share a few ideas I like with you.
Number one is a travel diary. I love the idea of traveling and want to do it very badly. I also love the idea of having travel diary. It can be fun to collect memories and fill the journal with memories. I'm sure there are travel journals/ diaries you can buy but if you make it totally customizable and to your liking.
The next journal idea is an art journal. The art journal can be a scrapbook or a sketch book, or something to just doodle and have fun with and practice your art. I actually have one and use it almost everyday. Mine is a canson mixed media sketch book. Since it is a mixed media journal it means the paper is durable enough for paint, markers and glue. So the possibilities of what I can add to this journal are endless.
Number three is a food journal. Now if you're a foodie then this is perfect for you. A food journal is a place where you can keep some of your favorite recipes. Or if you find a recipe on Pinterest you like an want to try you can add it to the journal too.
Number four is a gratitude journal. A gratitude journal is a place where you can write down all the things you are thankful for. Whether it is something you are grateful that day, month, or year. It's just good for when your having a bad day to help you remember all the good things you have in your life and be grateful for them.
Number five is a quotes journal. If you're like me then you probably look for quotes to put up in your room, or just need a good quote to make you feel good through the day. Over the years I have found many quotes that have become my favorite. So I have a journal where I can write down my absolute favorite quotes.
Number six is the bullet journal. I’m sure a lot of you know what a bullet journal is. But if you don’t, a bullet journal is a one hundred percent personlizable planner. I’ve tried bullet journaling more than once and realized that even though it’s fun to do I’m not that good at it. I need to practice more with it. If you want more information on it you can look it up on like Pinterest or YouTube and you will find all the information you will ever need.
Number seven is a normal diary journal, Some of you might think having a diary is super childish. But, it is good to have a place where you can write down all of your thoughts. A place where you can go to write about your day or to just help you get your thoughts organized.
So there are many ways to fill your journals. The options are endless they can you use to write a story, your personal thoughts, or art. I know I have more journals than I know what to do with. These are only a few ways you can fill your journals but there are so many more. I hope this was helpful or got you inspired to fill your journals and I hope you enjoyed it.
This Summer I haven’t worn a lot of makeup just because this is Florida and if I wear makeup I feel like my face is going to melt every time I walk out the door. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have a few makeup and hair products that have become my favorites this Summer. So here are a few products that I have been loving recently.
Number one, this product I have mentioned in a blog post before but at the time I had not played around with it very much. The Aspyn Ovard Tarte pallet is great because I don’t really enjoy wearing a lot of make up during the summer, but this pallet is great to create a light natural look. For the times when I want to go full glam this pallet is perfect for that as well with all the great metallic shades. My favorite metallic shade in this pallet is Heart Of Gold.
My next favorite product is a hair product I have been using for a little over a month now. I think its pretty obvious most loved hair style right now is beach waves. I got the Beachwaver S1 for Christmas last year which I have been loving how it creates nice beach waves. But this is not about the Beachwaver it is about the spray I use once I curl my hair. The AG hair care tousled texture spray is great for give you that messy beach look that everyone loves. Your hair doesn’t even need to be curled for this spray to work. You can totally just spray it in, run your hands through your hair, tousle it and scrunch it a bit and still achieve a beach look. The best part is there isn’t any build up with this product and it adds a good amount of body and volume.
Number three because I do not wear a lot of make up during the Summer I don’t usually put on lipstick or lipgloss to help keep my lips moistourized. But a product I do love and wear everyday is my EOS lip balm in sweet mint. I actually used to collect the EOS egg shaped lip balms a few years ago. But this one looks just like a chapstick that smells and feels great plus it's cute in photos as well. It is definetly one of my favorite products not just for Summer but all year too.
The next product is another hair item and that is my It's A 10 heat protector. I have been using this product for two years now and it is still something I love. I have been using the Walmart brand of this product recently just because it is about $10 cheaper than the actual It's A 10 brand. But it works just as well as the name brand. This is my second Summer with blonde hair and with all the swimming I’ve been doing I’m always worried about the chlorine from the pool turning my hair green so to keep it from doing that. I spray my hair all over especially my ends to create a barrier between my hair and the chlorine and it keeps my hair protected all summer long and through the year.
Number five, this product is one I received in my Fab Fit Fun Summer box and I also mentioned it in my Fan Fit Fun review post. That product is my ELEMIS papaya enzyme peel. When you first feel the texture of this product you would definetly think it was just a face moisturizer because it looks and feels like a lotion. But, it is actually a face mask that help exfoliate and moisturize the skin. I use this product every night and I can totally feel a difference in my skin. Plus it smells amazing which is just an added bonus because I have used face masks before that have not smelled great at all.
These are a few of my favorites and all of these products definetly made my top five list for this Summer and pretty much year round. I love post like these because they may give you ideas on some new products to try. I hope you enjoyed this post.
Something that can make or break a photo is props. The kind of prop you use depends on your styles of photos, background, and the location where your photo is taken. Whether you are taking a photo of yourself or a flat lay photo props are usually envolved somehow. I'm sure you've seen how props are used on instagram but if you don’t like using props you don’t have to that’s completely fine. I just know that from what I’ve seen on instagram and have heard other bloggers say props do make a difference and add something to a photo. So here are a few perfect and popular photography props.
The first prop is food. Food is a very popular and is great because when your done with the photo you can eat this prop. I’ve seen a lot those pictures recently because of it's Summer and ice cream is a favorite. You can get some really pretty and cute ice cream cones that are picture perfect. Then again when you’re done you can eat it and hopefully you finish taking your photos before the ice cream starts melting down your hand. Food prop options are endless. Pretty much if you are eating something that is pretty and cute or you think will make a good photo it probably will.
The next prop is flowers; really how could you go wrong with flowers unless you are allergic to them then don’t use them don’t go near them. But if you’re not allergic then go wild. The types of flowers you be able to use in you’re photos will depend on the area you live in, or what your grocery stores flower shops are selling. Now if you live in an area where you have a flower feild and the flowers are blooming that can be beautiful. I have seen this done this year and it is absolutely amazing.
The third prop is accessories and who could you go wrong with accessories. Anything will do a hat, purse, shoes, jewelry, even sunglasses you don’t even have to be holding it. Just having an accessory can add something interesting to any photo. If the photo you are taking is based on a purse make sure the main focal point is the purse and not your necklace or shoes.
Number four beauty & hair products is something I’ve seen be used as props a lot lately from bloggers and instagrammers who are promoting the products. But that doesn’t mean you can't use them as props if you want to as long as it is a product you love like a lipgloss or you’re favorite dry shampoo. The photo will turn out great. I actually love post like these because it gives you a chance to either learn about new products or find out more about a product you already knew about but never used.
There are so many more props out there that will look really great in any photo you take whether it's an ice cream cone or a hair spray you’re loving. Just having a prop can add so much to a photo and make it more visually pleasing to the eye. You don’t even have to use the ones I mentioned. There are so many more prop options out there. Again you don’t even have to use a prop if you don’t want to; that’s totally up to you. I hope this gave you some ideas on some props to use and that you enjoyed it.
I try to not be sitting at home bored with nothing to do on the Fourth of July or any holiday for that matter. But sometimes I do end up with no plans and just sitting at home stuffing my face with food and watching movies. Which is totally fine if that’s what you want to do but if you’re like me you’ll look on instagram and see everyone doing something fun and exciting. So to make sure that you are not sitting around and eating a whole bag of potato chips here are some activities to do on this lovely holiday.
Number one go see a fireworks show even though it is later on in the day it will give you something fun and exciting to look forward to during the day. You could totally invite a few friends grab a big blanket and just lay out during that night while waiting for the show to start.
Number two have a barbecue or picnic I feel like Fourth of July is kind of known as the day for barbecues and picnics. So you can’t go wrong with having one really. It also gives you a chance to try out all those recipes you find on Pinterest and to spend time with friends and family. Like really anyone will come to your barbecue or picnic if there is free food food; is just a good thing.
The next thing you could do is go to the beach to pool and now since it is a holiday that is where everyone will probably be. So be prepared for it to be extremely packed and parking to be difficult. If you don’t mind driving around to find parking at the beach for while then go for it. I don’t have my own pool in my back yard we have a neighborhood pool which has a Fourth of July party every year so I avoid going there on this holiday. But if you have a pool of your own then you can totally invite some friends over and just spend the day splashing around and having fun.
The next thing you can do is go out and get some really cute Fourth of July photos. They don’t even have to be for instagram but just for fun. I’ve seen a lot of cute photos for this holiday on Pinterest and We Heart It. You don’t even really have to leave your house to do this if you don’t want to just carry your camera or phone around with you and take as many photos as possible. Who knows they could turn out really stupid, perfect for instagram, or just make a great memory to hold on to.
I will be going to a pool party later tonight so another thing you can do is go to or have a party. It doesn’t even have to be huge massive party. You could invite three to five friends and watch some movies, make s’mores, do some fireworks. As long as you are spending time with people you love and are having fun and making some amazing memories. It will be a good Fourth Of July.
I hope you have an amazing time today and you are spending it with people you love. I hope these Fourth of July activities were somewhat helpful or gave you an idea on what to do today. Spend time with some friends and family make some memories and eat a lot of food. Most of all celebrate and have fun today Happy Fourth Of July everyone.
I'm going to start by saying I am not a morning person at all; I am definitely a night owl. So getting up and started with my day is not an easy thing at all especially when I have to be up early for work. It's just not fun at all and not something I enjoy. So if you are someone who has to wake up early like me or just don't like mornings like me here are a few tips to hopefully make your mornings a little easier.
Number one starts with the night before and that is going to bed earlier even if you are a night owl like me. So I usually am up late reading because I love to read. It isn't a bad thing just when I start reading at night I kinda lose track of time. So, I set a goal time for myself to be in bed and ready to go to sleep. I get ready for bed an hour to two hours before so I have time to read or just be on my phone. I am the person to set multiple alarms for the morning which sometimes I hear and sometimes I don't. Which is why I set multiple of themes to be sure I don't hit the snooze button too much.
Number two is one I think a lot of people already do and that is pick your outfit the night before. Seriously if you have somewhere to be in morning stressing about what to wear is going to take up a lot of time. I work as a nanny so my outfits are usually just some shorts and a comfy shirt so I can stay nice and cool in this lovely Florida heat we have been having recently as it definitely feels like Summer here. Seriously though, if you do pick your outfit the night before or at least have an idea of what you want to wear it will make your mornings a lot smoother.
Number three is something that I do that actually saves me time in the morning. That is I do my hair the night before if I wash it because I do not was my hair everyday. I don't have a huge amount of time from when I wake up to the time I have to walk out the door to do my hair. So to help my self out and not have my hair look like a poodle I usually blow dry and curl it the night before. After I curl it though I do not run my fingers through the curls like I would if I was doing my hair before going out somewhere. I leave them nice and tight then sleep on them. When I get up in the morning I go through them with my fingers or comb and ta da no poodle hair. I know not everyone's hair is the same and this will not work for everyone but even just blow drying your hair the night before will take some time off your morning routine.
Number four is listen to music or watch a youtube video. I uasually do this while I am getting ready in the morning. It helps my brain wake up a little more and gets me moving. Sometimes I even wake up with a song stuck in my head and that is the song I will have to listen to while I am getting ready. But I feel like besides my coffee this is a good way to get me moving and started with my morning.
Number five, I'm not much of a breakfast person first thing in the morning. It takes a little time before I get hungry and realize I should eat something. I know that sometimes we're in a rush to get out the door that we don't really think about breakfast or we just say we're not hungry because we don't have time. So here's a little tip for breakfast if you want something light like a smoothie or some fruit. Make it the night before and stick it in your fridge to chill until your ready to go in the morning. If you want something a little more filling a bagel is a good choice pretty easy and quick to make too. But if you want something like eggs or french toast I'm going to tell you to wake up a lot earlier to do that.
So here are my five tips for early mornings that I have used more than once for my self. Like I said before I am a night owl so mornings are not fun for me at all. So if you are like me a night owl or you just struggle to get going in the morning I hope you found these helpful or useful and if you haven't already try them out your self.
For over a year now I have wanted a Fab Fit Fun subscription and since I have a job again I decided to get one. No this is not a payed review nor did they ask me to do one. This is just my personal thoughts on my first box and over all the company. So since I just got my box as I'm opening it I decided to share my thoughts with you.
First Impressions; you probably have the seen the outside design of this box either from Instagram or a youtuber's summer Fab Fit Fun box unboxing if you are impatient like me. If you haven't seen the box it screams summer from the design to the colors and it's perfect for the season. It's so colorful and slightly reminds me of a lily pulitzer design. Now, inside the box the beautiful design and colors continue and a Fab Fit Fun magazine is on top.
The first thing that caught my eye was the Summer & Rose beach towel since it is the biggest thing the box. This beach towel retails for $55 and here's why. Fab Fit Fun collaborated with the model and blogger Rocky Barnes to create this giant towel. These towels come in two very summer like designs. Even though I just got a new beach towel from Aerie I'm excited to have another so when one is being washed I have a back up. The towels are made from microfibers and they say the sand won't stick to it. Since I just got it I haven't tested it yet. So I am excited to test it and be basic and get cute instagrams with it.
Next Item is something I have been thinking of purchasing myself for quite some time now. That is the Tarte Tartiest Pro Glow pallet which retails for $45. I have been putting off buying this pallet for so long because I usually found something I wanted more. Or I did not go in the store to buy the pallet but I knew it was something I would eventually buy and now I'm glad I didn't. Just like anyone else I had to swatch the highlighters on my hand. This pallet definitely lives up to its name and I can't wait to play with it some more.
On to the next item which is the ELEMIS Papaya Enzyme Peel and it reatails for $45. I have never actually tried or heard of this product, but I am looking forward to trying it. It says that this product is a rinse off cream made with exfoliating papaya, nourishing milk protein, and moisturizing vitamin E. It is supposed to leave your skin soft, revitalized, and radiant.
The next item is a little smaller but still adorable that is the Minor History Post Script Wallet which retails for $20. This little wallet/ wristlet in tan and peach is definitely going to be useful during baseball games. Since I don't like taking my big wallet with me to my brother's games I like sticking to wristlets. This is the perfect size to have for my money ad I.D and small enough to stick in my little purse I take with me.
Next item is a jewelry item and its a ring from the brand Erth Tu Y Yo Ring and it retails for $55. This is a gold plated ring that features two naturally cultured fresh water pearls set in a classic modern design. This little ring definitely goes along with the Summer theme of the box and is good to wear year around. It's the perfect little accessory that can either dress up or dress down any outfit.
This next product is something that if I knew about before Fab Fit Fun I would ask for it for Christmas instead of buying it for myself. This is the FOREO LUNA fofo which retails for $89. This little face cleanser brush is not any ordinary brush with its bluetooth technology and advanced skin sensors to create a personalized profile of your skin which is sent to your phone in the new FOREO LUNA app. The app is available in the App Store and Google Play, but since I am strictly an Apple girl the App Store is where I got the app from. I did test out this little device as soon as I could and could feel a difference in my skin after using it more than washing my face with my hands. Even if you don't have a Fab Fit Fun subscription it is something you should check out as well as the brand. But, I forgot to mention that FOREO LUNA teamed up with Fab Fit Fun for th exclusive launch of this product and app. So I'm not 100% sure if they are selling it right now but its worth checking for. Also, they do come in a ton of colors but I did not get to pick which color I got which is absolutely fine because I got the purple one.
The next item is a product I have tried before through BirchBox and it will be very good for the Summer season. It's from the brand Coola and its there Sport SPF 50 White Tea Moisturizer. The sunscreen that doubles as a moisturizer like a lot of sunscreens and is an 80 minute water resistant. Its also made with 70% organic ingredients and it retails for $32.
The last item is small but is a room decor piece. I actually thought it was a coaster at first but it is a Marble Ring Dish from Pier 1 Imports. I am actually planning on re-doing my room and adding a few marble pieces so this a good little piece to help me get started. Now all of my rings are from Pandora so I don't necessarily feel comfortable putting them on display. So, instead I put my little glass bottle of perfume on it. So even though I'm not really using it for what its for its still really cute and it retails for $14.99.
All together the total value of this box can be between $321.99 - $367.99 so to receive all that I did in this box for only $49.00 is a really good deal. I think this box is absolutely worth it and has some really great products in it. Something I didn't mention in the beginning I believe for every seasons box Fab Fit Fun teams up with a charity. For Summer's box they teamed up with the Wildlife Conservation Society and because of that they added a little conversation straw to support ad promote this Charity. Which you can search and Find out more about. But, over all for my first box I do love it and I'm very excited and can't wait for my Fall box.
It’s Summer Time and everyone including myself is excited. I don’t know about anyone one else but once Christmas is over I’m definitely ready for Summer. Since this beautiful season is here I decided to share some of the life hacks I used last year. But, also plan this year as well I feel like this is the perfect time of year. To test out all those D.I.Y’s and life hacks you find on Pinterest. So here are five of them for you to try.
Number one, we all know that if you are sitting by a pool or at the beach you usually have an open bottle or can of soda or juice. You usually are trying to keep an eye on the bottle to make sure no bugs or anything else are going in it. So, to avoid that problem and not having to worry about it through the day, take a cupcake holder and cut a little hole in it and place it on top, add a straw and you are good to go. I know you can actually find rubber can top covers on amazon as well but this will save some money. Why not just use what you more than likely already have in your house?
Number two, I have tried this one once at a friend's house. There is a pretty good chance that during the Summer or when it's hot in general you could end up getting burned. Once you get burned you're going to reach for the aloe to soothe it. I'm not sure about anyone else but I like my aloe cold so we keep it in our fridge. But if you are in a huge need for cold aloe you can take a basic nice tray or one that makes cute shapes and freeze the aloe in those. That way when you're burnt and wanting instant cold aloe relief you have some nice aloe ice cubes. I am totally the person to use the more cuter ice trays like the ones in the shape of dolphins.
The next one is great for the hot summer days when you are spending it in the pool and that is floating cooler. Now I would suggest this one more to people who have there own private pool. Public pools see have more rules than you would for your own pool. But if you get I would say a medium sized container. Then, take a pool noodle and cut it in to four equal sized pieces that fit the size of the container. Then put those on a rope and tie them around the container and fill it with ice and drinks. You have a floating cooler for yourself and your guest when unwilling to leave the pool for an ice cold drink
Number four, now I know they make water proof cases for phone now but I personally I don’t want to spend $80 on a case I’ll probably only use during the Summer. So I know this one is probably really well known. To protect your phone from getting wet at the beach, pool, or any other water activity you’re doing put your phone in a plastic sandwich bag. It protects your phone perfectly fine and is a lot cheaper than any waterproof phone case.
The last one is more of a snack life hack. Now I know when if your at the beach or pool you more than likely bring snacks with you. This one I have not had a chance to try my self yet, but I will be trying it. If you want to keep your snacks fresh like chips or crackers or you don’t want sand on them then you can use an empty bottle of coffee creamer as snack storage. Since most coffee creamer bottles have lids that snap shut you can just lift up the lid and shake out the snack without getting sand on them. Snap it shut to keep it fresh. This great because if your at the beach more sand is probably ending up in your mouth than wanted.
Since Summer is now here it is the perfect time to try d.i.y’s and life hacks. All of the life hacks came from Pinterest so you can definitely find more on there along with a lot more Summer activities. It will keep you from being completely board this Summer and what I will be doing to keep my self entertained. So I hope these were helpful and if you haven’t already you will try a few.
Recently I have bought two new pallets from Tarte, which made me realize I have quite a few pallets by Tarte. I am going to only review two of them today; the Mermaid pallet and the Aspyn Ovard pallet. So I figured why not review both of them since one pallet is more natural and the other is more colorful.
So let’s start with the Mermaid pallet which I have a had a little longer and used a little more because of that. First the packaging which is adorable and they did a good job with the design. It’s a gradient teal and magenta that’s metallic and has scales imprinted on the box giving the effect of a mermaid or fish tale. The pallet itself is in the shape of a shell with gold, teal, and green mettalic detailing. Now inside the pallet which is also metallic gold it has some beautiful colors for the summer. The eyeshadow colors range from a deep red to a teal blue to gold. Two of my favorite colors in this pallet are bubbles and salt water. Saltwater is more of a mauve or rose pink with a ton of shimmer in it and Bubbles is a light red color with a ton of blue iridescent shimmer in it. I use these two shades every time I use this pallet. This pallet has an endless amount of shimmer choices but it also has matte options as well. I think that this pallet has some good color options from pinks, reds, blues, and golds. Its the perfect pallet to play with during the summer but also through the rest of the year as well. I know definitely this pallet is available on the Tarte website but I believe it is only sold in store at Ulta and it was $34. I really do love this pallet and have been using it a lot and will continue using it through the year.
Now the Aspyn Ovard eye and cheek pallet, I have been following Aspyn's blog, YouTube channel, and Instagram for some time now. So when I heard she created a pallet with Tarte I knew straight away I was going to be getting it. It actually took me almost two weeks to get this pallet because every time I went to Ulta to buy it, It was already sold out. So I finally got my hands on one the last one in the store on Monday. Again, lets start with the packaging which is gorgeous and girly with the rose gold color and floral pattern. Along with Aspyn herself a lot of the youtubers I watch who went to the launch of her pallet all comment about how the back of it could be used as mirror its self. Which they are right about you could definitely use it as a mirror if you wanted to even though there is a mirror on the inside. The inside is of course rose gold as well with like most pallets the mirror on the top and the actual make up on the bottom. Since this is an eye and cheek pallet there is a really pretty deep rose blush called Made You Blush. It is a more neutral blush for the days you're looking to go really natural, but it's not too harsh of a color if you wanted to have it be a little darker for a more glam look. The highlighter named Pure Soul is great again for those days you want to go natural and just need a little pop. But, it's also good for when you are really looking for your highlight to be popping since both the blush and highlight are layer-able and blend easily. Moving on to the eyeshadow there are four shimmers in the shades Heart Of Gold, Wanderlust, Brilliance, and Endless Summer. Then there are five matte shades named High School Sweetheart, Road trip, Married Life, and Santorini Sands. I think my favorite shimmer is Heart of Gold and my favorite matte is High School Sweet Heart. This pallet is definitely good for natural and glam looks it just depends on what your feeling. Overall I love this pallet and can wait to try out more looks with it and again this one as well is on the Tarte website but also available at Ulta for $39.
I know this was really long but I wanted to make sure I could get what I thought about each pallet out of my head and shared here. So which pallet are you more likely to purchase the Mermaid pallet with the not so neutral colors, or the Aspyn Ovard pallet that is more natural and neutral but can be glam as well. I am actually very happy I purchased both because there are days I want a more natural look and then there are days when I want more color. So I hope this was somewhat helpful and you enjoyed it.
Even though Florida is known as the sunshine state it rains a lot. When approaching Summer we get stuck inside for days and sometimes weeks. Being a nanny I have had found ways to keep little one and my self entertained on the days when we are stuck at the house. So here are somethings that have kept us from going crazy because of the rain.
The first is board games and I feel like I have been playing a lot of lately. But if you can find a board game a long one like monopoly. You will definitely be entertained and distracted for pretty much the whole storm. Especially if you are playing monopoly because lets be honest, its the board game that never ends.
The second is arts & crafts, For Munch, which is what I call the little girl I nanny because she doesn't like being called munchkin this usually means play dough or crayons and coloring books. I'm not really trusting her with markers just yet so we stick to crayons. But, for me when I am not working and at home I like to either paint, doodle, or sketch; it just depends I'm in the mood for at the moment. Sometimes I'll even D.I.Y something If I have supplies at home and don't have to leave my house.
The Third is a movie marathon. Recently I've been watching old Disney movies with Munch, the ones she hasn't seen. So since its been raining alot Disney marathons are what we have been having. When I am at home I'm not going to lie, I have Disney marathons myself at home. But I love action movies so I will watch Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen, and all Mission Impossible Movies and more. So if you like to get cozy on the couch or in your bed and watch movies all days rainy days are the perfect chance to do that.
The fourth is to cook or bake something. I know there is one thing we all probably do and that is eat when we're board. So instead of going back and forth between the fridge and pantry go on Pinterest or look in a cook book and find some recipes to try even if they don't turn out right. Because, honestly everything on Pinterest doesn't always work out. It will keep your mind off the fact you are stuck inside.
The fifth is even though it's boring and probably something you do not want to do is clean your room. Like I said its boring and not really something any of us want to do. But, it has to be done and it needs to be done eventually so why not do it while your stuck inside.
The sixth is read. I actually really love reading it's something I enjoy doing alot. Most of the stuff I read is on my phone even though I have books on my book shelf that I have started but never finished because I find something that I like better on my phone to read. Or, I have lost interest in the book I started reading or I find another one I want to read at the same time but I do eventually finish them. So a rainy day is a perfect day to lay in bed in your comfy clothes and read a book.
So that is my little list of rainy day activities that I have tried myself before and stayed entertained. I know it doesn't always rain everywhere but in Florida it does. So I am always trying to find things to do inside especially when I am taking care of four year old. So I hope this was some what helpful or you enjoyed it and have fun on your rainy days.
Okay since Ive seen a few of these on other blogs and youtube I realized that I haven't even made my Summer bucket list yet. I'm sure everyone knows what a Summer bucket list is but if you don't t's a list of things you plan to do or really want to do and hoping to do over the summer. So I figured I would share my list with you an hopefully give you some ideas on what to do this Summer.
Number one on the list is have a photo shoot! That is something I love to do any time of the year. But, I have not had one in the Summer yet since I got my camera in November of 2016. So a Summer photo shoot is way over due. So I am hoping for it to happen this summer especially with my friends.
Number two on the list is go to the beach more than once. I am not the person that enjoys going to the beach on my own I like having a family member or a friend with me. But, since my best friend works on the weekends we didn't get to the beach as much as we wanted to. So it is definitely a goal this Summer.
Number two on the list is to travel wether its by car or plane. I don't care I just want to travel and go somewhere. I actually have a wanderlust list I am working on. I'm planning to post it sometime in the future once I get it all put together. There are many places I would love to explore in and out of the country so traveling is a big one on my list.
Number four on the list is go on a picnic. This is something my friends and I have wanted to do but never have had the chance to. It can be a lot of fun if you find a cute spot at a park or nature preserve or even on the beach. Plus, its fun to find some recipes on Pinterest to try out for the picnic. Also this is a great photo opportunity with your friends.
Number five on the list is watch fireworks show on the 4th of July which is something I have done for years now and I look forward to it each year. Fireworks isn't the only thing to do on this holiday; you can also have a bar-b-que, or spend the day at the beach and pool. But most of all just spend the day with friends and family creating memories.
I am really looking forward to some Summer fun with friends and family. Also I am looking forward to creating some new memories and adding some new photos to my photo box. These are only a few things on my list but I am hoping to check a few of these off and I am really hopefully I complete my whole list. I hope this gave you some inspiration and ideas to help you make your summer fun and create some new memories.
